Once again I am asking for your help:
I am an Infantry Officer in the Austrian Armed Forces. I am writing on a book concerning the battle around the FERNPASS. Therefore I am searching for Soldiers of the 71st who were part of the battle group (C/D-coy) which was guided by a german or austrian officer in the back of the 47. Volksgrenadierdivision on may 2nd 1945 in the area of FERNSTEIN. Does anyone know soemthing about these days and esp. the german/austrian officer? Does anyone have photos of this man?
Is there a possibility to recieve the essential parts of the regimental history of these events?
