Good afternoon,
I am writing to you to wish you the best and happiest times during your upcoming reunions. My name is Scott Ramsey and I try to attend as many WWII reunions in my area as possible. Since I would not be able to attend any of your reunions this year I would like, with your permission, to send you a video I have made of different WWII museums and memorials throughout the Southeast. I was thinking you may want to present it during your reunion. I hand one out to every WWII veteran I meet, or interview. I do small interviews and try to collect as many stories and personal histories from WWII veterans as I can. It is one way I in which I try to say thank you to our WWII veterans, plus it lets them see WWII museums and memorials they may not have had the chance to visit. The video is about 20 minutes and is basically a slideshow of pictures set to some big band and swing music. The cost for this video is nothing. I do not accept money for this video. I pay all shipping fees as well.
The last reunion I attended was the 93rd BG in Savannah in July. I handed out 36 videos. What I would like to do is send you a copy so you could view it, and if you like it you could show it at the reunion. If anyone would like a copy all they have to do is get in contact with me and I will be glad to send them one. No charge. If you have any questions or if there is anything I can do for your group, please just let me know. If you know of any other WWII veterans they may like a copy, let me know.
