I am looking for information on my grandfather. He served from Sep 15, 1944-Jul. 15. 1945. The name is Oliver Wesley Binns. He departed from Camp Gruber, OK. His commander was Col. Kenneth S. Anderson. He sailed home on the Queen Elizabeth from Gourock, Scotland on July 15, 1945. I believe he was a part of Company C but I am not sure. On his honorable discharge certificate he fought in N. France, GO 33 WD 45, Rhineland, Central Europe, GO 40 WD 45. I have old pictures with unidentified men that I would love to find out who they are. Any information email me abinns20@yahoo.com.
