Mr. Deich I was told that I should contact you regarding information on the 44th and the 71st Inf. Reg. Recently, I received after my wife's step-fathers death, a suitcase that contains items about his three brothers service during WW2. One of those brothers, Joe Quasky, was killed during the war. He served with Co. C 71st Infantry. I have many interesting items concerning his service and death which were found in this suitcase.
