I have used a table place setting for giving directions and using concepts. The child can make/color their own placemat then I purchase paper plates/cups, silverware, napkins, etc. Then we sometimes use it as a barrier activity to make YOUR place setting look like mine. For fun, we do it the 'correct' way first...then we have fun by saying "Put the napkin inside the cup, put the knife under the plate, put the cup under the bowl. Enjoy and have a nice Thanksgiving
