When playing with activities requiring dice, try putting them in an empty, clear plastic tennis ball container with the lid on. It keeps the dice from falling off the table and keeps the noise of the dice down to a minimum. I usually have the kids shake the closed container 2-3 times then place on the table, flat side down.
