We also like to use lots of songs during circle time in the 3-5 age group. One of the songs we use that reviews name recognition, speech, and pronouns is the "Where is Thumbkin" song but with the words changed. For example, we sing "Where is Drew, Where is Drew" and the child has to stand and respond with "Here I am, Here I am" we say "How are you today Drew", and he responds "Very well, thank you". Then we sing "Please sit down, please sit down." It's a fun song for the kids and really helps them interact in circle.
