A popular activity - Give each child a large cutout of a lemonade pitcher (I usually copy it in pink). Make many, many copies of "sweet" lemons (with happy faces on them) and "sour" lemons (with face & zigzag lines for a mouth). Child says a word, or several words, and then picks a lemon from the bag. If he gets a "sweet" lemon, he puts it in his lemonade pitcher. If he doesn't like it, he gives it to the person next to him. For some reason, my students love this!
