(I might have posted this elsewhere on this site but it seems to belong here)Took many years and lots of brain cells to come up with this, but here it is: I don't have a fancy dice 'substitute'like the contained ones(yet) but I do have this: When you finish using Parmesan cheese at home, keep the container (they are clear, with green lids. Clean it, remove label and when you play a speech game that requires dice, put the dice in the container. Students are allowed to shake it while I count to 5-or they'd be shaking it forever-eyes closed, place it (not bang it) on the table, green top down and there's your # of spaces to move, score, etc.
The containers are also good for storing little things like bingo chips, game markers and so on.
Like I said, it's not much, but little things can mean a lot!
