This is probably too late, but maybe for next year...I'm in an elementary school (K-5) and this always goes over BIG. I got a cheap, hand crank snow cone maker at Target. Then, I got pictures of all the stuff needed to make snow cones from the internet ("google images" snow cone maker, ice, scooper, flavorings, snow cone cups, straws, etc.). We then identified all the necessary materials, sequenced the pictures, and made snow cones for the last day of therapy. (This year, I took pictures of one of my groups doing each step of the activity to make actual sequence pictures for next year.) Great for language kids, and the artic./fluency/pragmatic kids worked on carryover/turn-taking, etc. I've done this for a couple of years and the kids talk about it all year. Kids who I've had and dismissed last year still come up to me in June and ask if I'm going to do that this year. It's a great memory for them. It's not very expensive-you could just use regular cups and koolaid with the crushed ice if you wanted. It's always a big hit with my caseload!
