Posted by karajoy on 2/22/2007, 7:08 pm, in reply to "recycled items for therapy" How about doing a craft? There are so many crafts you can make with egg cartons and toilet paper rolls. You can turn this into a sequencing/retell activity, following directions activity, activity where they have to request the items needed, etc. You could teach basic concepts such as empty/full, small/medium/large, tall/short, open/closed, etc. using old containers, bottles, and cans.
