
Posted by funtx They add the dice and get that much in chips (white chips=1, blue chips=5, red chips=10). A lot of times we play "odds or evens". They have to call odds or evens before they roll. They only add up the dice that have odds (or evens). Another game we play with chips I call "Trash Ball". I have 3 small bean bags. After they answer question (or whatever task), they get to throw the bean bags into the trash can. They get 5 points for the question, 5 points for each bean bag, but an extra 10 if they get all 3 in the trash can. Variations include throwing backwards (facing away from the trash can) or throwing all three at once. The boy students really enjoy this game as they get to move around a lot.

I use poker chips and dice with commercial materials. The student must answer a question or whatever, and then he/she gets to roll 3 (or 5) dice.
