Posted by trish on 2/21/2007, 8:09 pm, in reply to "recycled items for therapy" For Earth Day each year, I bring in all kinds of materials (containers of all different sizes, shapes, and materials; newspaper, junk mail, rubber bands, etc) and have the kids classify, describe, then brainstorm reuses. We can hit a lot of artic and language goals with this activity. Does this help?
