Sometimes when my students need a break from the same-ol', I give them magazines to flip through and cut out pictures that contain their target sound. Next they glue them to a poster board and then they tell the group about their poster--if at the word level they just name the pic...at the sentence level they make up a sentence about the pic...etc My kids really love it and I think it works well for auditory discrim of their sound because they have to look at a picture before cutting it out, say it out loud, then decide if their sound is in the word. Fun Fun :)
