Reasonable offer considered.
are you still interested? I'm looking to put this one on ebay or go to a museum or the BBC props dept.
it's a 1968 Bedford Roma Caravette. Not the CF and I don't think it's the CA either.
Its the car derived version. Based on the 1968 Vauxhall Viva (very boxy shaped one) Proper factory built caravette.
Elevating roof. In need of restoration. Tried to fire up the engine but been sitting in garage for 15-20 years. My folks used it for touring the country - shows 14,000 approx on speedo - I would think it's gone round the clock I'll have to check with my dad 83. Carefully used for it's whole life. He is the third owner. Acquired it in the early 1970's and used it to tour England and Scotland. The engine turned over but would not fire up (I'm not a car mechanic) Now the starter motor has jammed out. I know that much. Tatty round edges but overall considering it's age, not bad. Everything complete, just needs a good engine service.
Kev
PS: don't wait too long to reply, the house is being refurbished and I need to get it moved.
