As a small child in the 1950s I lived in Ollarzried and remember a small factory making wooden boats. They must have expanded into fiberglass boats. Making boats in Ollarzried is highly unusual as there are no lakes or rivers, only a couple of duck ponds. It is a farming and dairy area in the foothills of the Alps. Anyway, one of the farmers had two sons that decided to get into the boat building business. The business did quite well for a time but I think they are now out of business. Hope this helps.
