I want to extend a welcome from one of your other branches of the tree of Hall. I am a decendent of Robert Jackson Hall,son of Lucius Lawrence and Betty Butler. Roberts son Joseph Edward Hall was my grandfather, His son Joseph James Hall was my father. I am not adding dates as yet so as not to clutter your branch of the tree unless you would like to have them. My sister and I have been looking into tracing back the family tree without paying those hugh fee's for access to government records. My father once told me that my great great grandfather was the first sherriff of Arkansas Post,however, I have no proof. I emailed the museum there to see if any records exists regarding past sherriff's to see if a name would emerge that I could associate with the family. Unfortunately they have not responded. If you are interested in learning a little about my branch of the tree let me know and I will be glad to share. I have spent hours searching for connections to the data you posted and have come up dry. I finally found hallsville (their way of spelling it in Arkansas) just west of Devalls Bluff. My father was born there and my grandfather Joseph Edward lived there.
