Hello,
I would like to congratulate the 74 yungsters who took part in the first tournament of the season on September 27th. The tournament results appear on the web site. The next regular tournement of the season will be held on Sunday October 18th at Lucien Pagé School, 8200 St. Laurent Boulevard in Montreal. The Chess'n Math Association invites you to take part in this fun event! There is also a special section for players rated over 900. These tournaments are excellent for getting to play other youngsters of approximately the same strength as yourself.
Prizes: Medals for 1st and 2nd place in each section. 3rd place finishers receive a ribbon.
Registration: at Lucien Pagé School from 11:45 - 11:45. Tournament starts at noon.
Entry Fee: $16
INTERCLUB
The first Interclub tournament of the season will be held at Lucien Pagé on October 18 at the same time as our regular tournament. This year teams will be composed of 4 players instead of 6. There are also new rules for this event which you should read carefully.
You are not a member of a club? Come play in our regular tournament instead! Club organizers will be on-site and will be available to give you information about the different chess clubs in the Montreal area
