This was the first Ontario-Quebec match I've seen so I don't know the history. Apparently, Quebec has had many more years of chess in their schools.

I would like matches of 5 Ontario teams versus 5 Quebec teams, rather than travelling 3 hours to play a team from the same city.

In Ontario, maybe there should be teams representing Ottawa, Northern Ontario, South-west Ontario and maybe the winner of the annual Ontario High School Chess Championship.

I guess travel expenses prevent a national championship.
