I guess they created this new system in order to make the Quebec-Ontario duel more interesting... Over the last 5-6 years, Ontario had a 7-8 point lead before playing against Quebec in the 2nd day, so the match wasn't that interesting... Now, with this new system, the title will be up for grab for the team with less points... I predic some really intense final round for the next years !!!

Imagine if Ontario doesn't lose against BC in round 3... Then the final round would have been even more intense ! Quebe only won 6.5 - 5.5...
