The 2009 Sinclair Laird Elementary School Championship will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the Phoenix Club. Play will start at 12 Noon. The event will be a 4-round swiss at G/30. There is no entry fee.

All current and former Sinclair Laird students may play. Others who have not attended Sinclair Laird may also participate, provided their CMA ratings do not exceed 1200.

Trophies will be awarded to the top two players NOW ATTENDING SINCLAIR LAIRD and to the top player from Sinclair Laird in grade four or under. Medals will be awarded for the best performances by players not now attending Sinclair Laird.

Tournament location: the school/library building at 419 St-Roch, West, Montreal (Parc Metro).
