Posted by MikeyB I bought a copy from good ol' Chebbo's table at the Bristol Comic Expo as he mentioned that it was the only comic that hadn't sold a copy. I'm all for giving small press a chance but after reading this one I wished that I hadn't. The artwork is a bit rough and not as defined as it could be ..but it being issue one of a small press title you can easily forgive that. But the stories inside failed to amuse me. They were either boring or vulgar. It seemed like it was trying to say something about the lives of day to day people... but failed to do so. My sense of humour is quite broad and I can usually tell if something is funny even if I don't personally find it funny. ...but this comic didn't even hint anything funny. I felt it was trying to be like the Viz comic... but it lacked the intellegence of Viz. Personally I don't think it's worth the £2.50 I paid for it. Does anyone else have any comments on this? Is it just me? Just thought this would be an oppotunity to discuss a comic on the message board. Look forward to any responses on this.

Has anyone else read the small press comic called disAssociates?
