Rates will be agreed with the successful candidates in advance but will be up to USD15 per completed pencilled page and up to USD10 per completed page of inks. A rate of up to USD25 per page may therefore be agreed if a single artist undertakes both pencils and inks. All creators’ rights including revenues and intellectual rights will remain with the owners of the title. Penciller and/or inker sought to collaborate on a new comic title targeted at both men and women in the 20 – 35 age group. All artwork will have to be to professional standards so as to be ready for independent publication and/or submission to major publishing houses for consideration.

• whether they are applying for the role of penciller, inker or both;
• applicable page rates sought; and
• either samples of previous pencilled or inked sequential artwork (as appropriate) or details (for example, a web address) of where examples of their artwork might be examined.
In the event that there are several potentially acceptable candidates, the owners of the title will compile a shortlist. Each short-listed candidate will then be asked to provide sample artwork based on materials to be provided. These materials will include a synopsis of the first issue of the title, a description of one or more of the key characters and sample pages of the script.
