Posted by redbat87 The Project is Volume 2 of a two-volume graphic novel. Further details will be provided to short-listed applicants. By way of background information, Volume 1 is almost complete but – due to personal reasons and other commitments – the existing art team is unable to work on Volume 2. The completed Volume 1 will be submitted to prospective publishers during 2008. Scope of work The successful artist or art team will complete between 100 and 150 pages, fully pencilled, inked, coloured and lettered, according to the requirements of the Project script. The timeframe for completion of the Project is negotiable and will be discussed with short-listed applicants. Terms The artist will undertake all, or if an art team each member of the team will undertake one or more of, the roles listed below; in each case on the basis of either Option A (Work-for-Hire) or Option B (share of the Project) as set out below. Figures quoted for Option A are total figures not page rates. Percentages quoted for Option B are percentages of net receipts. All figures, percentages and other conditions are subject to contract. How to apply Artists interested in undertaking one, some or all of the above roles in this Project should send the following information to: redbat87@gmail.com Selection process The successful applicants will be chosen on the basis of the quality of their work and whether their style is considered suitable for the Project. No contracts will be awarded unless and until a complete team has been assembled.
