Posted by Thesite I work as a journalist at www.thesite.org and I'm heading up a new project that's aiming to get all you arty people involved! We have many interactive elements to the website, but for now much of it involves writing. So....I wanted to tap into the creative minds of keen cartoonists/illustrators for a series of small strips to sit alongside many of our light-hearted articles. I think it's important that young people get to express themselves in many different forms, so I hope this appeals to lots of our readers. What are your thoughts on this? Would it be useful to your portfolio to get some of your work published on a well-known website? When we have the right people involved, we will of course give guidelines and support throughout the process to make sure the finished product is suitable for publication. If anyone is interested in getting involved (and are between 16 and 25) then please feel free to get in touch - julia.pearlman@youthnet.org. I can also answer any more of your questions. Any feedback would also be gratefully received, or if you want to talk about it more on the boards with me, Thanks! Link: http://www.thesite.org
