Posted by MikeyB I'm currently still up at 02:42 drawing some pages for an anthology I'm involved in and, as with many of my late nights, an idea struck me! At my current crappy data entry temp job I have decorated my corner of our grubby office with the poster for the 'UK Web and Mini Comix Thing' I downloaded off the site and printed off on my A3 printer as 1. something comic related for me to look at.. and what a pretty picture it is and 2. to inform and promote small press comics. Now the idea I have is that every small press comic do a poster for people to download and print off so the fans of the comic can have a poster in their own room to look at and adore and also for people to put up where others can see it (others being non comic reading types) so it will create an awareness and (hopefully) increase the interest in comics on a grander scale. The posters can be any size.. from a small, dinky A5 one to and epic size A3 one.. maybe someone can be clever enough to divide an A0 one into lots of A4 sheets. Maybe Chebbo could get a few artists from a few small press comics to create a Smallzone Poster. Anyway... it's just an idea. Let it brew in your heads for a while. I'm gonna get back to the drawing board... bloody deadlines!!! MikeyB

Okay... so small press comics is actually 3 words.. but they are still words I wanna spread across the country and across the world!
The posters can advertise/promote creators own comics and/or promote their own comics that are appearing at certain events. Which will hopefully pull in more visitors to the UK Web and Mini Comix Thing, Comic Expo, etc..
