Posted by Susannah/Marlene/Dave Kenady on 1/8/2002, 1:17 am Posted by Susannah on 12/17/2001, 10:16 am I am looking for copies of Camp Meeting (or any other event for that matter) audio cassettes. Specifically, those where Keith Karlsson (pastor of the former Victoria, BC ministry) was a featured speaker. I am working on compiling a collection. I would be happy to pay for any duplication costs and mailing expenses. Any leads would be appreciated... Thanks. ---------- Posted by Dave Kenady on 12/18/2001, 6:03 pm , in reply to "Audio tape request" Susannah, I'll ask around. I don't a whole lot of personal connections (so to speak), but I'll see what I can do. Hopefully someone here will read this and get in touch with you. ---------- tapes Posted by lanny on 12/18/2001, 9:10 pm , in reply to "Re: Audio tape request" There is a tape catalog that lists every sermon by speaker. Just look up Keith and you will find all of his sermons. lanny ---------- Posted by Susannah on 12/19/2001, 8:45 am , in reply to "tapes" Maybe I missed something obvious, but I'm not able to find a "tape catalog" anywhere on this site. Could you offer some further guidance? Thanks. ---------- Posted by lanny on 12/19/2001, 11:06 pm , in reply to "Re: tapes" The tape catalog is at the tape library at the 8th ave. campus. I am not sure exactly what is available, but I have used that catalog. Lanny ____________________ Posted by Marlene on 12/30/2001, 3:48 pm I have a collection of new music tapes from Chapel which I've only listened to maybe twice since I left the group in 1989. Just want to see if anyone is interested before I bother to list them or ask for offers for purchases, etc. Thanks. Posted by Dave Kenady on 12/30/2001, 4:58 pm , in reply to "Music Tapes 1983-1987" What tapes do you have? I might be interested. ---------- Artists List Posted by Marlene on 12/30/2001, 6:15 pm , in reply to "Re: Music Tapes 1983-1987" Here's a list of people or groups. Choral Worship I think I have more than one box of these, and this is the contents of only one box. I have duplicates and triplicates of some, and with some artists I have more than one title. I'm being a little lazy today to put together the whole list. Hope to send that tomorrow. Marlene WhatÂ’s happening with the tape-library co-op? Posted by Denny on 12/30/2001, 8:46 pm , in reply to "Music Tapes 1983-1987" (See the thread 33 threads down.) Anything? It could also be made to include music tapes. So what if the tape libraries at Chapel didnÂ’t distribute ChapelÂ’s music? This co-op could. The idea I like is for New Heart to pick up ChapelÂ’s tape library, which, last I heard, wasnÂ’t running. Pick it up and get it going again so people outside the area can order them through the mail. Start making copies of all the Chapel music tapes that can be found, start circulating them again for everybody whoÂ’s interested, so we can be edified by them once again. ThatÂ’s what IÂ’d suggest. Posted by Lanny on 12/31/2001, 12:22 am , in reply to "WhatÂ’s happening with the tape-library co-op?" I would love to see something. The "New Heart" idea just won't fly. New Heart would not be interested in that at all. I suggest "we" do it somehow. Lanny ---------- Posted by Marlene on 12/31/2001, 6:03 am , in reply to "WhatÂ’s happening with the tape-library co-op?" Key of David church in Federal Way... at least it was there when I visited about 4 years ago, had some former Chapel people in it. Their worship service consisted entirely of Chapel recordings played. I heard on the grapevine that the Olsons (Gil and Bev) were involved in that fellowship. I wonder if someone in that group has the ability to handle the music lending end of this idea. I wish I could find my address book but I think a man named Doug (can't recall last name) had this group meeting in his home. Anyway, a suggestion. ---------- Tape Coop Posted by Dave Kenady on 12/31/2001, 9:08 am The person in charge of the Tape Coop dropped the ball. (Oh.... that was ME!) Okay, we can kick this thing off. Eventually I would like to learn how to build a page that is self-serv. Each person would be able to list tapes they have available for loan and on the website there would be an alphabetical list of tapes with e-mail addresses. I don't quite know how to do this, but I will research it today. My goal by the end of the day is to have a page up. I'll let you know. ---------- Tapes: List with more detail Posted by Marlene on 12/31/2001, 6:50 pm I have prepared a list with more detail of my music tapes. Since it is in tabbed format, it does not appear to paste well in this message. I think it would be better to send it out as an attachment to an email. But, just because I said I'd do this today, I'll paste it below, and people wanting the better version can make arrangements with me or the people who run this board. I may have missed some of the musicians (artists, ministers ... choose your preference in terminology, and some individual songs are listed because of the "loop" tapes produced. The album titles in parentheses ( ) are anthologies. The others represent albums done by one artist or duet. I think these things are easy to see but it may look confusing at first glance!
