Posted by JL on 12/30/2001, 9:01 pm Posted by Josef Larsson on 11/17/2001, 9:01 am , in reply to "The imminent war(part1)" continuation from The imminent war (part1) I believe with all my heart that our lives are about to change drastically. It may still be some years, but the confirmation gets stronger and stronger. Men of God all over the world are declaring it. Here is one of the latest ones that I’ve read: Golden Ministries Please search your heart as I search mine. Are we living up to the truth that we know about Jesus? Are we pursuing him and his love as in a veritable chase? Are we laying siege to his kingdom and taking it by force as men of old have? Are we selling everything that we have to get that pearl of great price? Are we truly taking up our crosses and following him? Do we only have brotherly affection for him as Peter did? Are we living as though we are the love slaves and he is our master? Are we expecting him to do our part of the contract? Are we carefully walking before him? Are we truly believing his word that there is one who is at war against us and wants us thrown in the lake of fire? Are we full enough of his spirit that when darkness comes we will still have our way lit? Are we truly living our lives for him? Are we saying Lord, Lord and not keeping his commandments? Are we forsaking the assembling together with other believers? How many of our excuses for disobeying him will be valid when we stand before the splendor with angels on either side prostrate on the floor? Sleepiness has robbed us of seeing the reality of these issues. Are we obeying the most important commandment? Matt 22:36-38 This is a time to be frank with ourselves. No more excuses, no more procrastination, no more sleeping. Either we get up now and shake sleep, get our shield of faith and the rest of our armor or we say “..just ten more minutes...” and hit the spiritual snooze button one more time. My snooze warns about 6 times or so and after that the alarm doesn’t go off any more. Pushing it too many times can be a fatal mistake. For me this means perhaps being two or three hours late for school. The analogy in the spirit would be an absolute disaster. Matt 25 It is not an exaggeration to say to say that this is a matter of life and death. We are all on the same team and we need to help each other. My email is posted along with this post. I’m willing to pray with people or talk or anything. Huge changes are about to come and we need God! I love you all, My prayer is that every person, including me, takes this post into their heart and really lets it and Jesus do a work. It will take a struggle to shake sleep but we will be soooo glad that we did, it is of paramount importance. -Josef Larsson Link: Golden Ministries
The imminent war (part2)
36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
