Posted by Matt Geib on 10/16/2001, 8:28 am Hello Folks, Please Pray for my good friend & sister Genevieve Longley. She is one of us---a former CC grad who has been on the mission field in Argentina these past 10 years. I believe she has posted here before as well. Anyway, she had to come home to Seattle a couple of weeks ago because she has been quite sick. They have found a malignant tumor that has been pressuring her liver. In the natural, the prognosis is not good(40-50%chance). She is in the hospital now & set for surgery Friday, the 19th. They will go in & take out the tumor & need to do some major reconstruction due to the damage of this growth....But here is the real deal!...If cancer has spread out of this area they give her only 90 days. Please Pray that the cancer has not spread & the surgery to be a success! Father, "I ask you now in the All Powerful name of your Son Jesus To reach out this instance & heal our sister Geniveve!!, For Lord we know You are Jehovah Rapha!! The Healing God! Your Son's Blood not only cleansed us from sin but was also provided for the healing of our Bodies & I Claim & invoke that Power Right Now!!! We ask for you at this vwey moment to give our sister the peace that passes all understanding, We claim Isiah 26:3 That you will keep our sister in perfect peace as her mind is stayed upon you!!" I know of a church in Alaska that has been fasting on Genevieves' behalf & will be doing so also this week so if any of you want to join us I know it would be greatly appreciated!!!
