Posted by JR, et al on 11/6/2001, 1:22 pm Why are most of our legal terms Latin: E Pluribus Unim, Habeous Corpus, Annuit Caeptus Novus Ordo Seclorum...? Do you know what the word "state" means when used in a political sense? If you did, you would know that the first U.N. was the U.S.A. Did David Copperfield REALLY make the Statue of Liberty disappear, or was it just AN ILLUSION? ---------- Yeah, I have Posted by Gordy on 10/8/2001, 4:16 pm , in reply to "All the world's a stage..." JR: I was considered very learned on those subjects 25 years ago. I could spiel out facts and data about all thier little details like a crazed matoid. In fact, when my eyes were opened to the root of all those organizations and issues I realized that Christ was my only hope. That is part of my testimony. All these things used to bother me greatly. Although they are in the back of my mind I have come to understand that by being totally consumed with them, well, I was being consumed, even before their various plans came to fruition. It still is interesting stuff if handled properly. Gordy ---------- Posted by JR on 10/8/2001, 11:41 pm , in reply to "Yeah, I have" Dear Gordy, Since you have knowedge on these things, then I will explain why I even brought these things up. I see prophecy being fulfilled right before our very eyes. Not prophecies spoken by people like David Wilkerson, but prophecies spoken by our Master. First of all, I am no doomsday fanatic, and secondly, I wish no ill toward the U.S.A. as it stands today, or maybe I should say as it stood years ago. Most everybody I love and cherish lives on American soil, except for one dear brother and his family who live in the Dominican Republic. But, I will freely admit that I am no "patriot". I am a citizen of the New Jerusalem, and am very "patriotic" toward the kingdom of God, but I don't call myself a christian. Some people, such as Steve Born, believe that I have a grudge against the Church, also. Nothing is farther from the truth, but I do think that the religion of christianity is a piss poor imposter for the Church. The religious and political leaders of Yahshua's day hated Yahshua, and had him crucified for the charge of blaspheming the temple and trying to cause an insurrection against Rome. Why? Because he exposed their deeds as evil. Were either of those charges brought against him true? Those who do evil hide under the cloak of righteousness, until their deeds are exposed. After their deeds are exposed, then they resort to bloodshed. This has always been true. ---------- USA Posted by lanny on 10/8/2001, 10:16 pm , in reply to "All the world's a stage..." I have studied that stuff for years. This country is not perfect and the devil was there at its founding. Yes, there is a lot of symbolism in many of these things. The Washington monument is an obelisk. It was copied from those in Egypt and is what the Canaanites worshipped. It is an ancient phallic symbol. Satan has his footprints all over things if you begin to look close enough. We still worship the phallic symbol. It is just a male erect penis. Yes, it is central to our culture. Israel had both the pure worship of YHWH and lots of "high places" as well. This country today is a mixture just as it was in George Washington's day. It is up to Christians to be lights that dispel the darkness. The dollar bill is very interesting. 13 arrows...13 states...13 tribes of Israel. There are lots of interesting things ...I know there is a spiritual battle and there was one going on in 1776. God gave this country as a gift to all those persecuted Christians down through the ages who suffered because they could not worship Him freely. They all prayed for a place like this! Let us use it for God's glory and kingdom and not just for our own pleasure. How many countries have today and in past centuries allowed us the blessings of not only freedom but protection as well. Think of it... ---churches are tax free (property and income) ---ministers are given special recognition and tax favors ---offerings are tax deductible These are not all available in other countries. If Christians would go for God this would be postponed. It is really up to the church to either role back the darkness or be swallowed up by the darkness. The USA hangs in the balance as does the world. Consider Lot...With a meager amount of evangelism he could have saved Sodom. I mean Abraham asked God to spare the city if 10 be found and God agreed. There was Lot, his wife, 2 daughters, that makes 4. If Lot could have won 6 souls he could have saved the city. The church today is much like Lot. Sodom is converting the church more than the church is converting Sodom. Thus, we are in a very dangerous place. But, some good things are happening. A friend flew Alaska airlines last Friday to Tucson. On every seat was an Alaska Airlines picture like a postcard with only a Scripture written on it. He gave it to me. WOW! That wouldn't have happened a month ago. Keep praying! Some in the nation are turning and it is genuine. Lanny ---------- qwestion for Lanny; will USA and world repentance avert the calamities you predict? Posted by dz on 10/9/2001, 12:15 pm , in reply to "USA" Lanny, I have a question, if I may ask. You have previously justified the predictions of David Wilkerson, partly on the grounds that God may delay or avert His judgments based on the changed course of people to be judged. You cite the example of Jonah. I suppose we could have included the example of Abimelech in Genesis 20:3. In this case, it was God Himself who said, "You are a dead man," to Abimelech. Yet, when Abimelech changed his course of action, God spared him. You have recently observed that there are some obvious godly changes in the spiritual state of at least some in the USA. You mention the postcards with scripture from Alaska Airlines. I assume you know that even before Sept 11, there were businesses that gave out Christian literature. For a long time, the Texaco station in Burien at 1st and 156th gave away Voice magazines. So, the Alaskan Airlines postcards are simply an example of a pre-existing movement, being done on a larger scale. You have predicted that the USA will help set up a presumably evil and Christian-persecuting world government, and that it will help set up an evil and Christian-persecuting world church. OK, given that the USA is changing course--or at least some in the USA are chaning course--and although it is only partial and not everybody, is it possible that these predictions of yours will not be fulfilled, on the grounds that the USA changed course, is changing course or will change course? Is it possible that half or a large part of what you take to be the predictions of Revelation will not be fulfilled on the same basis as the failure of Jonah's prediction? That is, the people involved changed course and God therefore did not judge? If not, why not? How would we know? For, Jonah 3:4 was stated absolutely, just as have been the many predictions of Wilkerson, of which about 2 in 80 have come to pass. Is the book of Revelation 6-19 unconditional simply because it is a longer book than the single verse, Jonah 3:4? For my prediction is simply this: that over time, coming in waves, with occasional plateaus and occasional minor regressions, the USA as a people will become more and more Christian, and, the Christians in the USA will become more and more spiritually mature and wise. I make the same prediction about the world as a whole. The world population will become more and more Christian; Christians in the world as a whole will become more spiritually mature and wise. As any who know me know, that is what I have been predicting this for years. The Columbine shootings sparked a small wave. The plane bombing attacks (and perhaps this anthrax death in Florida) are sparking another wave of increased prayer, Christian commitment, church attendance, Bible reading and spiritual growth. So, is it possible that any evil Christian-persecuting world-government-beast which you predict to exist in the future will be derailed and not happen because of the repentance or changed course of people in the USA and the world generally? You talk of repentance delaying God's judgment. Will repentance delay the world-government-beast indefinitely, or may it? How do you know?

Has anyone here ever read the book "Holy Blood, Holy Grail"? Is there anyone here who is familiar with the Council on Foreign Relations, The Builderbergers(sp?), or Freemasonry? Did you know that Thomas Jefferson was a member of a secret society called the "Illuminatti"? Is anyone here familiar with the "Order of the Knights Templar"? Have you ever heard of the Bohemian Grove?
Why is it that all of a sudden, there are several movies on the market about Atlantis? And why is it that there is a pyramid with the All Seeing Eye of Horus on the back of the dollar bill, and the words "IN GOD WE TRUST"? Why is the "Star of David" above the eagle(pheonix), which has an olive branch(a symbol of peace) in one claw and arrows(a symbol of war) in the other?
Imagine a world without the USA. Enough said.
And yes, the USA will be instrumental in the formation of a world church and world government.
