Posted by AU on 10/4/2001, 2:25 pm Dear Pat: Thank you for your interest in my research. Your question to me, “Would you consider explaining The Biblical Time Line of the Last Days?” I don’t know if you have read Chapter Nine, which is in this thread; if you have, then you would have knowledge of my understanding of the last seven-year period before Armageddon. If you were speaking of the “Last Days” as recorded in the Scriptures, I believe this encompasses a much larger time frame. While penning the manuscript “Ride the Ark Through Armageddon” I have not included a time-line. The reason I have not is so I don’t end up looking like a fool. In fact I have an entire chapter devoted to the date setting practices of William Miller and Charles Russell and what a strange trip that’s been. While penning the work I prayed a lot asking Christ to help me keep out false doctrine. The Truth was always the main focus. To bring people into a deeper commitment to God through His Christ was paramount. A time-line I believe could distract the reader from the true message. This book is about life, it is not about the fine points of prophecy as many might first think. It brings prophecy home, with a message to prepare for the coming spiritual deception that Satan shall thrust upon our world. For many reasons I would like to avoid getting too specific when dealing with a question along these lines. ABOUT THE BOOK AND FALSE DOCTRINE One month ago a copy of Ride the Ark was given to an usher named Bob at New Heart. Last week at church Bob and I talked. I asked him if he could find any false doctrine in the work, he said no. He went on to ask me to add a Bible verse in one chapter and he asked me to change one word in another chapter. I made the changes that Bob asked. Out of 58,000 words Bob had trouble with one. Bob liked the work and passed his copy off to the well-known Evangelist Jamie Hanson. I hope Jamie can find chapters to read from while evangelizing the world, after all it was meant to be preached from. PS, it has been over four months and the publisher has still not rejected this work, I went out and prayed about it today and as far as I can tell God has everything in His hands. As I have said, I will post any response from this publisher, good or bad. ---------- Posted by Pat on 9/16/2001, 4:59 am , in reply to "Re: About The Apocalypse Class at the Chapel" AU Thank-you for responding to my question. Perhaps when you get your book Pub I can read the full Story. Sometimes when I read Scripture I get confused As to Is Pre-trib, Post or mid trib that this event is happeing. For instance Rev 12 Is understanding the content more Important than the finer poits of exactly when the event took place? Yes, would be my Answer, Yet How do we gel Rev 12? Women clothed with the sun with the moon under her feet What does that mean? Does the Women=The Visible Church She being with child=manchild? Bride of Christ? etc.... In Christ, Pat
