Posted by AU on 8/11/2001, 1:27 pm AU & All, I have found your book to be not only easy to read In my humble opinion AU, you not only have very good & balanced insight on this difficult subject, but your real "gifting" shines in being able to present your subject matter in a palatable manner for the average Christian Joe. So many books out there on the subject of the Apocalypse leave folks bored & confused. I find this work to be an exciting read, in fact it was hard for me the first time through to put it down & I always looked forward to getting back into it the next time. I am humbled & flattered for you to consider me helping you with this calling to "Get this Message Out" . Exciting things are happening for me these days, God seems to be accelerating His/Call & work in my life at this time. This project may well be a part of that. Matt ---------- Re: Feast Days more: An Open Letter to Matt Posted by Author Unknown on 6/2/2001, 6:51 pm , in reply to "Re: Feast Days more, Thank You" Six years ago on the October night when God asked me to “write a book” I had a lengthy vision, “as it were.” I think the actual vision lasted about a minute or less but I stayed in the spirit for an hour. What I mean is, I was so happy to have heard from God that I didn’t stop praying. And I visualized the book sweeping through the earth tearing down Satan’s strong holds and turning the world upside down for Jesus Christ. I have faith that the calling was genuine. I have faith that this book, “Ride the Ark Through Armageddon” will turn many to Christ, and also instruct others to stay in the boat when the flood comes. On the day I receive bound copies of this work from the publisher I will turn my company over to my co-partner Leonard E. J. Then I will set out to fulfill a dream come true—to spread the gospel around the world with the proceeds from the book. My hope is to plan many excursions all around the United States to start. Then select nations around the world. I also want to make it into a movie. You will get an e-mail from me on the very day I have a contract in my hand. In the meantime, keep the faith my brother. ---------- Exactly What is COA's Take On This Subject? Posted by Author Unknown on 6/8/2001, 5:33 pm , in reply to ""I will not read someone else opinion on the subject." Huh?" My book is done. Nevertheless, since you are so sure that I am wrong about my understanding of the Feasts, maybe you would like to share the truth with us and with all of the sorry people that think my understanding might deserve merit. I hate to even mention “me.” Truth is paramount! I am a worm. Eric, for the sake of truth show us the true meaning of tabernacles. ---------- Posted by EricO on 6/10/2001, 4:25 am , in reply to "Exactly What is COA' Take On This Subject" You already know COA's take on the subject and you disagree with it as stated in your initial posting. There is no point continuing discussion on the subject! ---------- Posted by bob sackett on 6/4/2001, 6:28 pm , in reply to "Feast Days" very interesting, BUT, WHO ARE WE TALKING ABOUT??????????? WHO IS WRITING THIS BOOK??? WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK DON BARNETT IS THE ONLY ONE TO GET REVELATION AND UNDERSTANDING???? ---------- Hi Bob Posted by Gordy Case on 6/4/2001, 7:09 pm , in reply to "Re: Feast Days" Great to see your name on the board. Just the other day I was recalling some of the prayer meetings I was in with you and several others. The one that stood out in my mind was the retreat the Businessmen's Prayer Group attended at Fort Flagler. For such a stodgy group of people we sure had some wonderful times didn't we? Again, great to see you here. Gordy ---------- Posted by Dave Kenady on 6/4/2001, 9:40 pm , in reply to "Re: Feast Days" Hi Bob. Hey, didn't I see you and your wife at the New Heart convention the other night? I don't think AU is saying only Don can get revelation on the Feast Days. I think he was being sarcastic and reacting to an exchange that happened about a year ago when he was asking for info on the Chapel's view of the feasts of the Lord. I sent him a copy of Don's pamphlet on the feast days and there was some contention on the board about it. ---------- Posted by Author Unknown on 6/5/2001, 5:53 am , in reply to "Re: Feast Days" Dave is correct, I was being sarcastic when I said Don owned the subject of the Feast days. Yet from another perspective that statement is not far from what others teach. Don himself said in a letter to the church something to this effect, “Your elders can only lead you backwards, you need my revelations to get to Tabernacles.” To answer your question, “Who is writing this book.” My name is Richard Bruce Kelsey, I go by the name Author Unknown on this board and prefer that name. I said yes to a calling of God in my life and penned a book over the last six years. This book is an attempt to impart the Word of God to his children. When it came time to do some research on the Feast days I asked people from this board to help with some details. What I wanted was, technical/specific details surrounding the Holy Days. Things that any good scholar could give me. I was trying to insure that I did not make any mistakes concerning the rituals themselves. I was perplexed by the attitudes of certain people from the COA. They acted like Don owned that subject and that I would be stealing his life work if I were to include it in my book. I got so depressed over the whole ordeal that I put the chapter aside. One year later at the very end of my writing season I through the chapter together in less that a day. My heart for that subject had died. All I could think about was the accusations by the people of the COA. One of the reasons I posted that chapter was to show that I had not stolen anything from Don. I wish I have had some cooperation with people from the COA who really know the subject so I could have put in more details that would have edified the reader. But alas, I found that if you want to learn about Tabernacles you need to do your research somewhere else. While they pretend to have some deep insight on this subject they refused to share it with me. Eric was partly right, “I did not write this book on behalf of the COA” because they wouldn’t have a thing to do with my book! At one time I was striving for unity with that group—it didn’t work out. ---------- Posted by EricO on 6/10/2001, 4:39 am , in reply to "Re: Feast Days" "At one time I was striving for unity with that group—it didn’t work out". How can you strive for unity with COA after the one time you visit the church on a Sunday evening (I met you) you then write critical postings of the church service from a single visit and discount the work of the HS in the church by critizing service and the visions that were read as well. Who are you to judge? ---------- An Open Letter to EricO's questions Posted by Author Unknown on 6/10/2001, 6:59 am , in reply to "Re: Feast Days" “At one time I was striving for unity with that group—it didn’t work out” (Author Unknown) speaking of the COA. EricO asks, “How can you strive for unity with COA after the one time you visit the church on a Sunday evening (I met you) you then write critical postings of the church service from a single visit and discount the work of the HS in the church by criticizing service and the visions that were read as well. Who are you to judge?” To be frank, the moment I took in the service I perceived that The Church of Agape is no longer capable of unity with the rest of the church body at large. Nor could it be with its unique worship service—spiritual connections and its limited message “Don will lead us home.” “Who am I to judge?”—Someone who walks in the light.

but very understandable for such a complex subject. There are very many wonderful works out there on the end time events butI believe many of them are very challenging to follow unless one is an avid scholar.
