This seems to be a bad place to trade or sell things. This is at least the 3rd time I have heard of someone being ripped off in some way. If you can honestly say that you have not done anything misleading, wrong, excessive or made false accusations, then by all means gather the other person's info from your emails and CALL THE POLICE.
Bottom line, if this transaction was anything other than a standard transaction in which a person sent you pictures of a radio, describe the problems and the condition and had you send him money and he skipped out, then you will have problems. Any niggling details or he-said she said crap will have to go to Small Claims Court. Usually a little police persuasion is all you need...
I'm really sorry to hear that you got ripped off dude. I have only done one transaction here, but I dealt with someone who was honest and trustworthy (Bill Carter). I hope you can recoup your losses, and if this guy is found guilty, they ought to lock him up! People like him give this site a bad name...
