Advice on a new CB radio setup.

Hi, I am planning on installing a CB radio system on my personal vehicle. I am trying to learn everything I can about what componets to use and how to properly install them. I want the best performing system I can have within reason. I talked to a guy that has a CB shop and he said that you don't have to have the most expensive components to have a good system.

I have a Cobra 29LTD radio that I bought new and has not been modified in any way. I plan on using a 9 foot "bull wip" antenna.

I want to get as much advice as I can. I want to do the best job possible on my installation.
