With over 35 years experience in radio communications and CB, it is my recommendation, that you mount a Wilson 1000 or 5000, or a K40 to the roof of the truck. Your signal radiation will be far superior. Remember the K.I.S.S. principle. Tune the antenna for the lowest SWR on channel 20 and you can't go wrong.
