: Just be adviced, without a proper amateur
: General Class licence issued by the FCC,
: operation on the 10 meter band is illegal.
: Take the test, know proper radio procedures,
: and join the civil world of ham radio.
: Don't bring your CB habits (roger beeps,
: echo, crude language, immature behavior) to
: the HF world. It may take time, but the FCC
: will find you, part you of your radio and
: $10,000.
: Just a friendly reminder.
:
: And if you believe FCC WON'T muck with you,
: try again! Several $10,000 FINES have been
: issued to individual CBers for using illegal
: radios, amplifiers and operating outside the
: CB band. And the licensed folks authorized
: to use those frequencies (they are NOT
: "channels" ) WILL actively seek
: you out and turn you in! It isn't
: "snitching"--it is PROTECTING what
: they WORKED for!!
:
: It's just info that can easily be verified
: on the 'web. So take it to heart and not
: go outside your authorization!

The last guy that turned me in is no longer on the ham bands any more he had to find out the hard way.... just because you have a piece of paper that tells you that the government lets you talk on the (other) freq's because you took a test big deal do you want a brownie button now!!!! basically all you are is a glorified cb cop/snitch and you come down to the 11 meter band and start trouble and run your mouth and try to pull rank on every one. do us all a favor and shut up would ya!!!!we dont need people like you!!! we have enuff retards in the world allready and we dont need anymore like you tellin us about the fcc and it's rules and reg's i'm pretty shure we dont need you to hold our hands and tell us what to do because if anyone is to blame it's the fcc for not monitoring the sales of export radios coming into the U.S. and being dist around the country to all the dealers who sell them to the general pubilc, i know this cause one of my good friends works for the fcc and says the cb radio is the last thing on their list... were too busy monitoring fm & am broadcasting stations making shure they dont get outta line.....
