I'm not looking for a lecture. What I am doing is swapping a radio simpy because for me , it IS illegal. That is why I am looking for an ummodified 10 meter rig for my mobile. If I wanted to be illegal, then I would keep the radio I already have and hae it converted for sideband. This radio was a gift, and someone thought they were doing me a favor, but doesn't know the ins and outs of radios. All of my equipment is legal, except for this Magnum. I run ICOM, Yeasu, and Kenwood. Me swapping a radio out is not going to change the illegal CBers and freebanders situation. But I do agree with you that no amateur should run illegally. So I do tip my hat to you on that one. You just have the wrong guy. 73s
