I agree that your caseload is way too high especially if you're going to more than one site. Does the child have multiple phonological errors? I have found that using a modified Cycles Approach words very well with my kindergarten population. I target one sound for a few weeks and send home the picture books and whatever else they have made for them to continue to practice at home at the end of those few weeks. I then move to the next sound. By the time I come around to the first sound targeted the student has improved from where they were when we left that sound. If a parent complained to me that their child wasn't making any progress I would ask them if they were completing the daily practice homework that I send home. I also explain that I can show the child how to say the sound correctly but (just like with piano lessons) they need to practice on their own at home with the parents to make improvement. Good luck.
