This year I have several school wide activities planned such as a door decorating contest and an idiom contest. I'm hoping the idiom contest will be a big hit this year! The kids will read an idiom over the PA each week with four possible answers to the real meaning. Each class who turns in a correct answer to me by the end of the week will be entered into a drawing. The winner gets possession of my "green thumb" watering can for a week then passes it on to the next winner.
