Basic Communication Skills is an area middle schoolers need deperately to develop, especially the types of students on a language/communication caseload. We have developed a curriculum compiled from several resources, one of which is Communication Workshop by Linguisystems. There are other publishers for this same theme. I teach a group of 15-20 kids on my caseload at the same time, with help, using this curriculum and find it successful.
