Posted by Sherry Using Boardmaker, I also made a visual cue that I keep on the table in plain sight of my groups that get a little wild. Just a simple line of pictures that include "sit, look, listen, be quiet, raise hand." Hope this helps.

I learned to use a visual chart using happy /sad faces for the kids that need that extra reinforcement in terms of behavior. I have a green card that has 3 happy faces velcroed in a row with reward (sticker, toy, $) picture at the end of the row. The red card has 3 sad faces with the same reward picture that has a red X on it to mean "NO". This system is small, very portable and can be used anywhere in the building with any teacher. Works for special ed. kids and gen. ed. kids.
