I try to give incentives for positive behavior (staying on task, getting along with and respecting others). The students who earn a reward are given a ticket (much like the kind you used to get at a theater) and they save them in envelopes. When they obtain at least 5, they can redeem them for small prizes (usually a lolipop or mini M&Ms). The child needs to understand what behavior is expected of him. Maybe you should begin with something simple and a goal that can easily be met, like remaining in seat throughout the session. Try this and then raise the bar...staying in seat and keeping hands/feet to self, and so forth. Try to work something out with the classroom teacher as well, where the kid will get "points" for good speech session behavior. Good luck!
