And if you don't have a whiteboard/chalkboard in your room, you have to get a whiteboard (dry erase board) with dry erase markers. And regular scented markers for drawing on paper too.

The previous suggestions are excellent.
You may want some large charts for the mini-stickers you will give the kids as rewards for various behaviors - coming to speech on time, bringing their homework, completing the targeted behavior during speech, good manners, etc (whatever goals you choose to set). Charts that are laminated are best and get big ones that you can display on the wall.
I can say that one of the very best things I do is give the kids stickers and when they have x number of stickers, they get a prize. Smilemakers has good prizes as does Oriental Trading Company.(Smilemakers are better quality that OTC). Over and over the parents tell me their kids love to come to speech and a large part of it is because of the prizes!
