I used to do homework folders and most of the time the homework did not get done because the speech folder never left the desk. This year I just hand over sheets of homework to my students and tell them that they need to take it home and practice it with their parents. If it comes back with a signature, they get an extra sticker on their motivational charts. I can't believe how many of my students are dissappointed the days I don't have homework for them to take!
