Are you a member of your state's speech-language association? If so, you could request to be on their email list for upcoming workshops in your local district. Also, if you are a school-based SLP, check with your County Office of Education. Some counties send out a calendar of various educational events/workshops in the surrounding area. If you're looking for those expensive, but really interesting workshops (typical cost $189 per registration), there's Cross Country Education, PESI, and Summit Professional Education. Just google those names, search a workshop/location on their website, and voila! The downside, though, is the registration price. OUCH! Good Luck!
