Here are a few ideas - probably things you already use but just in case: visual schedules, 1-2-3 Magic (can google for information), Nurtured Heart Approach, ignoring attention seeking behaviors, reinforcement chart to earn desired activity at end of session, if necessary using "first/then" visual alternating speech task with desired activity throughout the session, simple social stories with pictures of what is expected during speech sessions (if possible use pictures of the child in the story), if possible have a model peer present and give a lot of positive feedback for what the model peer is doing correctly (ususally kids will want that same attention and perform the desired behavior). I use a combination of the above. Good Luck.
