I service an autism program PS - 8th grade. I have 48 severely autistic kids on my caseload. This year, we decided to try having them come to my room. I asked if i could have a break from the "traveling circus" push in therapy I was doing. I was doing 2 classes a day, 5 days a week, dragging my materials around in 3 boxes. This year they come to me, 3 classes a day. It's 8-10 kids with 3-4 paraprofessionals. Does anyone have a situation like this? If so, how do you schedule it? The kids mostly follow strict behavioral intervention, so it does work 95 % of the time. Thanks. Feeling alone.
