I always found that taping them permanently to the desk did not work. The student would be coming to speech on incorrect days and not showing up on the correct days. I have had the most success with taping the reminder to the desk that morning then they would bring it to speech with them at the correct time. This only works if you have time to run from class to class in the morning to deliver the speech clocks.
