Where did she find out that option? I've never heard that you can pay for your CCC's and waive the membership. How much less does she pay?
I was most diheartened when I was a stay at home mom and struggled to come up with the dues. I feel they should take into account mothers who are taking time off or SLPs who are out of work for medical reasons. Why should I have had to pay when I was not working? It's a scam. They offer no flexibility. Who are they to take my CCC's when I worked for them. If they revoked them, I'd still be the same therapist. It should be a membership alone. I don't see how my CCC's should ever be on the line.
