I work at the middle school level and have experienced a similar conflict. I ONLY pull my students from their elective classes, that way they never miss their content area. While some kids don't enjoy being pulled from their electives, less weight is placed on these classes and students can typically pick-up the next day. GOOD LUCK! ~Nik
